| | | USDA Employees receive Rosstat medal USDA Employees receive Rosstat medalDr. Larry Sivers and Dr. Michael Steiner of the National Agricultural Statistics Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, received Rosstat medals in recognition of their assistance in organizing Russia's 2006 agricultural census, the first held since 1920. Dr. Sivers and Dr. Steiner have been collaborating with Rosstat for over ten years on improvement of Russian agricultural statistics under the auspices of USDA's technical assistance program.
