| | | On January 23, 2006, the Russian Minister of Agriculture Aleksey Gordeyev met with US Ambassador William Burns at the Ministry of Agriculture, and the two agreed to intensify bilateral collaboration and to create a joint working group under the management of deputy ministers.
During the meeting, the two discussed a spectrum of questions related to Russia's WTO accession and agreed to terms about conducting a video conference soon between Minister Aleksey Gordeyev and Secretary Johanns.
