World Food 2008

World Food Moscow 2008 Generates Sales for U.S. Companies in four sectors of the show.

World Food Moscow, an international show and forum for importers, wholesalers, retailers, and food processors, took place in Moscow, Russia, September 23-26, 2008.

World Food Moscow 2008 welcomed 1,400 exhibitors from 53 countries and attracted over 55,000 visitors. The FAS Overseas Trade Support Branch, ATO Moscow, and show management worked together to organize a USA Pavilion for 13 exhibiting companies, generating over $500,000 million in on-site sales and $1 million in 12-month projected sales. U.S. exhibitors offered range of products including snacks, fish, seafood, and fruit products. To augment exhibitors' participation, ATO Moscow organized a retail tour, prepared welcome kits with relevant market reports and assisted at meetings.
