| | | U.S. companies can soon register for World Food Moscow 2007
"World Food 2007" is the largest international show and conference for importers, wholesalers, retailers and food processors in Russia. This USDA-endorsed event offers an excellent opportunity to introduce U.S. food products in Russia, one of the world's fastest growing markets. Last year, this 4-day show drew 1,270 exhibitors from 54 countries and attracted more than 57,000 importers, wholesalers, retailers, and processors from all parts of Russia and from many neighboring countries.
The market in Russia is growing rapidly. 143 million consumers are looking for high quality products. Russia's GDP is rising a projected 8 percent in 2007 and wages are growing even faster. From 2002 to 2006 the Russian retail market has been increasing 25 percent each year. Thirty-eight percent of all direct foreign investments in Russia were in the retail and foodservice sector. Russia's overall food imports were over $20 billion in 2006. Shouldn't some of those exports belong to your company? World Food 2007 offers world class amenities and support for your company from ITE and USDA.
